This Is Our Story...

Full Gospel Bible Camp was born out of prayer, faith, and obedience to God’s call.

In 1966, our founder, Major W. W. Henshaw, stepped forward with a clear vision placed in his heart by the Lord; to establish a camp meeting ground where God’s people could gather to seek His presence, hear His Word, and be renewed in spirit. With no guarantees except faith in God, he and a small group of believers trusted the Lord, sacrificed faithfully, and prayed earnestly as they secured the land in beautiful Kissimmee, Florida.


It is amazing to know that something that began as a step of faith 10 acres obtained through prayer, unity, and generosity became a place set apart for the work of God. From the very beginning, Full Gospel Bible camp was never about buildings alone, nor about finances alone. It was about obedience. It was about believing that God still meets His people when they set aside time to seek Him.
 

Major Henshaw believed deeply in prayer, sacrifice, and faith-filled giving not as obligations, but as acts of worship. His words reflected a conviction that when God speaks, His people respond wholeheartedly. That same conviction remains at the core of Full Gospel Bible Camp today.

Our Continuing Vision

The vision God placed in the heart of our founder is the vision we continue to carry forward. Full Gospel Bible Camp exists to be more than a gathering place, it exists to be a place of God’s presence. A place where prayer is valued, where hearts are stirred for holiness, and where the Word of God is honored and desired. We believe the greatest need of the Church is not entertainment, nor comfort, but a fresh encounter with the living God.
 

Full Gospel Bible Camp still stands as a place of refuge for pastors, leaders, churches, and families who hunger for spiritual renewal. A place to step away from distractions and return to the essentials: prayer, worship, fellowship, and the transforming power of God’s Word. We are committed to preserving the original heart of this ministry not driven by finances, but by faith; not focused on expansion alone, but on spiritual depth; not seeking recognition, but seeking the presence of God.
 

As generations come and go, our prayer remains the same:
that all who enter these grounds would leave strengthened, refreshed, and more deeply rooted in Our Lord and Savior Jesuschrist, this is not just our history, this is our calling.

And this is the vision we faithfully continue.
